LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) according to the CM’s focal person for digital media Azhar Mashwani.
“He had mild symptoms (Fever and Flu) since last night and in self-isolation as per the advice of Doctors.” said Mashwani on Twitter while updating everyone of the chief minister’s health.

He also requested everyone to pray for the speedy recovery of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
Coronavirus cases in Punjab are rising during the second wave of infections gripping the country.
On Monday, the province reported 505 new coronavirus cases while 34 people lost their lives to the deadly disease.
This brought the total number of COVID-19 cases in Punjab to 131,933 while the death toll now stands at 3,638.
