LAHORE: Supply to CNG stations in Punjab will remain suspended indefinitely due to the shortage of gas according to the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL).
The gas supplier has also announced to suspend supply to CNG stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for the next four days.
The decision comes a day after Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) announced suspension of supply to CNG stations in Sindh and Balochistan for two days a week.

The SSGC further stated that supply to industries will also be slashed by 50 percent because of the shortage in supply since there is increased demand during these winter months.
Moreover, the residential homes in Punjab, Quetta and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are being supplied with low gas pressure which has left families in extreme inconvenience during winter.
However, this is expected to get better as the government has arranged 12 LNG cargoes for January 2021 according to the Petroleum Division.
