The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 11,736 with almost 600 new cases being reported on Friday along with 11 more fatalities raising the death toll to 248.
Two more coronavirus patients lost their lives in Balochistan bringing the death toll of the province to 10 as reported by the Health Department.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported four more fatalities in their daily coronavirus report on Twitter at the end of the day. This brings the death toll of KP to 89.
The Health and Population Welfare Department of Sindh also gave a report at the end of the day with two more fatalities bringing the total death toll of the province to 75.
Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar missed his coronavirus updates for today and the last update available from Punjab is from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) which reported four more deaths bringing the total to 68 in the province.

Global Update
The total number of coronavirus cases globally have surged past 2.81 million and the death toll has surpassed 196,000 and United States is reporting the highest number of daily new cases as well as fatalities from COVID-19.
United States has over 912,000 coronavirus cases now which makes up over 32 percent of the global cases and the death toll has now surged to 51,453 which accounts for over 26 percent of the global death toll due to COVID-19.
Spain has over 219,000 coronavirus cases which are the second highest in the world along with 22,524 deaths which is the third highest. The country has seen a slight rise in the number of new cases reported today however there is an improvement in the reported fatalities.
Italy has the third highest number of cases over 193,000 and a death toll of 25,969 which is the second highest globally. There has been an improvement in recent weeks compared to the peak of the outbreak in the country.
France has reported high numbers as the coronavirus outbreak reached its peak in the country however, the daily number have improved in recent days. The number of cases are over 159,800 and the death toll is 22,245.
