The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 56,288 while the death toll of the country has reached 1,164. There were 1,848 cases reported across Pakistan on Sunday (24 May 2020) along with 33 more fatalities.
Sindh reported 13 more fatalities according to the Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Shah on the Sindh Chief Minister House Facebook page. This brings the provincial death toll to 367.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department updated about the coronavirus cases today reporting nine more fatalities in the province. This brings the provincial death toll to 398.
Punjab reported five more fatalities in the province according to the daily coronavirus update by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). This brings the provincial death toll to 337.
Balochistan reported one more fatality according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the Provincial Health Department. This brings the provincial death toll to 40.
Gilgit Baltistan reported three more fatalities today according to the Daily Situation report issued by the GB Health Department. There were no new cases reported in the region.
Islamabad reported two more fatalities raising the death toll in the capital city to 14 according to the Government of Pakistan Official Coronavirus Dashboard at covid.gov.pk/stats/pakistan.
