ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has issued the latest statistics of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Pakistan during the last 24 hours.
According to NCOC, there are 644 more people who have tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours including four deaths and the number of cases are increasing everyday as people continue to avoid following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Prime Minister Imran Khan tweets “compared to some other states, Allah has been kind to us in Pakistan and spared us worst effect of COVID-19. There is a fear onset of winter could result in 2nd wave. I urge everyone to wear face masks in Public to avoid a spike. All offices and Educational Institutions must ensure masks are worn.”
However, despite the increasing number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan, educational institutions have reopened across the country and several cases have been reported among staff members.
