The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 84,907 while the country’s death toll has reached 1,766. There were 4,752 more cases reported on Wednesday (3 June 2020) along with 83 more fatalities from across the country.
Sindh reported 29 more fatalities according to the daily coronavirus report issued by the Provincial Health and Population Welfare Department. This brings the provincial death toll to 555 while total cases in Sindh have reached 32,910
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported 10 more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 500 while total cases in the province have reached 11,373.
Punjab reported 37 more fatalities according to the daily coronavirus update provided by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). This brings the provincial death toll to 607 while number of cases have spiked to 31,104.
Balochistan reported two more fatalities according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the Provincial Health Department. This brings provincial death toll to 51 while the total cases have surged to 5,224. The probable death toll has also risen to 51.
Islamabad reported four more fatalities bringing the death toll of the capital territory to 34 while the total cases have surged to 3,188. Here is a detailed graph by the Islamabad District Health Office showing the distribution of coronavirus cases in the city.
Gilgit Baltistan did not report any new fatalities however the coronavirus cases have reached 824 according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the GB Health Department.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) also reported one more fatality bringing total deaths to 7 while number of cases have reached 284 according to the COVID-19 Dashboard by Government of Pakistan at covid.gov.pk/stats/pakistan.
