The number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 30,903 after almost 1,500 cases were reported on Sunday along with 28 more fatalities bringing the country’s death toll to 666.
The Health and Population Welfare Department of Sindh reported nine more fatalities in the province bringing the total provincial death toll to 189 in their daily coronavirus update.
Punjab had five more fatalities in the province according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) which brings the total provincial death toll to 197.
The Health Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported 11 more fatalities bringing the total death toll of the province to 245 which remains the highest reported in Pakistan.
There were two more fatalities in Balochistan bringing the provincial death toll to 26 according to Daily Situation Report by the Provincial Health Department.
Spokesperson of the Balochistan Government also tweeted with a coronavirus update stating the same figures as the Daily Situation Report.
There were no deaths reported out of Gilgit Baltistan however, there were a few more cases registered according to the Daily Situation report by the Health Department of Gilgit Baltistan.
