The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 35,722 after there were 1,397 cases reported on Wednesday along with 34 more fatalities bringing the country’s total death toll to 770.
Sindh reported 16 more fatalities according to the Health and Population Welfare Deparment in their daily coronavirus update bringing the provincial death toll to 234.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported eight more fatalities in the province on Wednesday which brings the provincial death toll to 275.
Punjab reported nine more fatalities according to the daily coronavirus report issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), This brings the provincial death toll to 223.
There were no reported deaths in Gilgit Baltistan however there were a few more cases reported in the region according to their daily situation report.
Balochistan Health Department also released their daily situation report with no new fatalities in the province. However, several new cases were reported.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) also reported its first death in the region according to the Official Government Coronavirus Dashboard at covid.gov.pk/stats/pakistan.

United States remains at the top with the most number of cases and fatalities including the highest reported daily numbers due to the virus. Russia has also had a huge surge in the daily coronavirus cases being registered however, the death toll still remains under control compared to other countries with that much amount of cases.
Other European countries like Spain, Italy, France and UK have all seen a decline and huge improvement in the coronavirus situation.
