The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 9,214 with almost 800 cases being reported on Monday along with 17 more fatalities bringing the total death toll to 192.
Islamabad reported one more fatality bringing the total death toll of Capital Territory to three while the number of cases have rose to 181.
Sindh also reported five deaths bringing the province total to 61 in the daily coronavirus updates provided by Senator Murtaza Wahab on his Twitter.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported seven new deaths today bringing the total of the province to 74 deaths according to the update by Finance and Health Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra on Twitter.
Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar also reported three deaths bringing the total of the province to 45 in his end of day update on coronavirus. Several new cases were also reported bringing the total number of 4,195.
Chief Minister of Balochistan also reported the sixth fatality from the coronavirus in Quetta today through detailed update on Twitter.

Global Update
The total coronavirus cases globally have surged past 2.468 million along with a death toll of over 169,500 and United States has the highest number of coronavirus cases as well as the highest death toll.
United States alone has over 784,500 cases which account for over 30 percent of the global coronavirus cases and a death toll of 41,844 which makes up almost 25 percent of the global death toll.
Spain has the second highest number of coronavirus cases over 200,000 with a death toll of 20,852 which is the second third highest globally. Although the numbers are high there has been an improvement in the daily numbers.
Italy has the third highest number of cases over 181,000 while the death toll is 24,114 which is the second highest. There has been an improvement in the daily number here as well compared to the peak of the coronavirus in the country.
France has seen a significant rise in coronavirus cases and number of fatalities and will probably pass Spain’s death toll in a day. The number of cases in France is over 155,383 which is the fourth highest while the death toll is 20,265. There has however been a significant improvement in daily numbers.
