ISLAMABAD: Coronavirus death toll in Pakistan have reached 10,047 after 55 more people lost their lives to the deadly infection during the last 24 hours according to the data provided by the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC).
According to the data provided by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), there were 2,155 new cases of coronavirus reported during the last 24 hours, bringing the countrywide tally of infections to 477,240.
It is pertinent to mention that so far 430,113 people have recovered from the infection while 37,080 are undergoing treatment while 2,219 patients are in critical condition at hospitals.
According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the positivity rate of coronavirus cases being reported across the country has risen to 5.92 percent.

Furthermore, three cases of the highly infectious coronavirus variant that emerged in the UK have been detected in Karachi according to the Sindh Health Department on Tuesday.
