The coronavirus global death toll has surged past 100,000 while the total number of cases are over 1,661,952 with United States having the highest daily death at this time.
United States is experience close to 2,000 deaths while the total death toll of the country has reached over 18,000 and the number of COVID-19 cases in the country are over 487,000 which is not only the highest in the world but also makes up over 27 percent of the global cases.
New York which is one of the worst affected states by Coronavirus in the United States is now burying bodies of patients in mass graves at Hart Island stacking them on top of each other.
Italy has the highest death toll with 18,849 fatalities with over 147,500 cases however, the United States will cross this mark in less than a day coming on the top with not only the number of confirmed cases but also the highest amount of COVID-19 related deaths.
With a death toll of 15,970, Spain has the third highest fatality rate globally with over 157,000 cases however, the country has been a decline in the number of daily deaths on Thursday.
France is also reporting a close to 1,500 fatalities on a daily basis while the country’s total has now reached 12,210 while the total number of cases have crossed 117,500 which is the fourth highest number of COVID-19 cases and deaths globally.
However, China where the coronavirus pandemic began has now lifted lockdown on Wuhan, one of the worst affected cities in the country as they have been able take control and curb the spread of the virus.
