Coronavirus: Italy reports almost 1000 deaths in 24 hours

As the coronavirus pandemic gets worse, Italy reports almost 1000 deaths in 24 hours which is the worst number reported by any country in a single day.

It has been almost five weeks since the coronavirus took root in Italy and since than more than 86,500 cases have been reported in the country which is even more than China where the virus originated.

Italy remained the country with the most COVID-19 cases however, today the United States has almost reached 100,000 confirmed coronavirus cases making it the country with the most number of cases in the world.

Now Italy has seen a death toll of 969 in the last 24 hours which is worst of any country in a single day and the total number of deaths in Italy has surged to 9,134.

Spain reports 769 coronavirus deaths in 24 hours

Spain has also reported a record coronavirus death toll for the country with 769 deaths in the last 24 hours as the country’s total reaches 4858 casualties.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Spain are also rising rapidly with more than 64,000 cases and thousands being reported everyday.

United States reaches almost 100,000 coronavirus cases

United States has reported more than 12,000 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours and the country’s total has almost reached 100,000 which the most number of COVID-19 cases for any country and even more than China where the virus first originated.

US also reported a death toll of 345 in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of casualties for the country to 1,513 and the number is rising rapidly.
