The total cases of coronavirus in Pakistan are now at 30 with the latest two cases each from Islamabad and Sindh and this is a rise of 25 cases in a week since the fifth confirmed case in the country.
Earlier, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) reported a case in Islamabad which was a 30 year old woman who arrived from the United States a few days ago.
According to sources, the woman is in critical condition and placed on a ventilator after being brought to PIMS from a private hospital.

Now, there has been another case confirmed by the Health and Population Welfare Department of Sindh through their Twitter account bringing the total cases of coronavirus in Pakistan to 30.
The health department’s tweet reads:
Sindh Health Department has a new case of Corona Virus in Karachi. The patient arrived from Saudi Arab a few days back and was tested positive today. This brings the total number of cases to 16 in Sindh out of which 2 have recovered and sent home and 14 are under treatment.
Sindh has been most affected by the novel coronavirus with 16 total cases out of which two have recovered and sent home.
For now, the Pakistan government is taking precautions and even closed all educational institutions in the country and are placing a ban of public gatherings such as wedding events.

The novel coronavirus has so far infected over 148,000 people and has taken the lives of over 5,500 people as of writing this post.
Most of the coronavirus cases have been in China where the virus originated in their Hubei province.
