A notification has been issued by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Office (ADC) in Lahore stating that there is a possibility of a lock down in Lahore.
Earlier CM Punjab Usman Buzdar said that all malls, parks, shopping centers and markets are to remain closed amid this coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak from 9:00 pm on Saturday till 9:00 am Tuesday.
According to the CM Usman Buzdar pharmacies, vegetable markets and grocery stores will remain open and even restaurants will be allowed to fulfill take away and delivery orders.

CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah introduced similar measures earlier this week in a step to try and curb the spread of the coronavirus in the province.
However now the government has taken the decision to bring back three thousand pilgrims from Iran directly to Faisalabad according to sources which might end up increasing the number of coronavirus cases if not handled properly.

So far the total number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Pakistan has crossed 690 and the number has increased significantly in the past 24 hours.
The province most affected by the coronavirus outbreak is Sindh with 357 confirmed cases with majority of them being people that returned from Iran.
