The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) has decided to start COVID-19 vaccination of people over the age of 18 from 3 June 2021.
The announcement was made by head the NCOC and Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar on Twitter.
“In today’s NCOC meeting it was decided to start scheduling vaccination of registered 18 plus from Thursday the 3rd of June.” said the federal minister in his tweet.

“With this step the vaccination of all eligible age groups would be carried out.” he said while urging people to register for the COVID-19 vaccination as soon as possible.

The country has already opened walk-in vaccination for people the age of 30 as well as all teachers and school staff to avoid disruption to education.
