ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government has decided to establish a cyber crime wing for the Ehsaas Program to prevent fraud and people being deceived by impersonators pretending to be agents.
According to Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Dr Sania Nishtar, the move is being made to prevent fraud using digital technology.
Dr Sania Nishtar said that the Cyber Crime Wing will be established at the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) office for Ehsaas Program as many have fallen victim to scams by people pretending to be agents.
Earlier, Dr Sania Nishtar announced that Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program payments had been extended till September 15, 2020 and a further 15 days past deadline for everyone facing trouble due to bio-metric verification.
