RAWALPINDI: Direct General Inter-Service Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that the Pakistan Army with the support of the nation will respond to any Indian aggression with full force.
Addressing to a new conference on Monday, Major General Asif Ghafoor said “Nuclear is a weapon of deterrence, however if aggression carried out, Pakistan has the right to respond in its defence.”
DG ISPR said “Pakistan Army shared each and every detail with evidence even took local and International media to the site where Indians claims to bombed and killed 300 terrorists in Balakot, Now it’s time for India to share the evidence.”
In response to February 26 reaction, Pakistan shot down two Indian fighter jets on 27th february responding to Indian air strike.
“Indian shot down their on Mi-17 helicopter suspecting it to be Pakistani Air force.”
The DG ISPR said it is moral responsibility of Pakistan to continue supporting Kashmiris struggle to achieve their birth right to self-determination.
DG ISPR appreciated the role of Pakistani Media and journalists on their positive role in the recent conflict with India.
“Around 1000 kilometer fencing has been completed meanwhile Pakistan Army is working on the remaining portion, Inshallah it will be completed soon.” – DG ISPR
Responding to the demands of Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM), he said the PTM leaders received funds from RAW and Directorate of National Security to stage protests in Pakistan and provoke people against the Army.
DG ISPR raised few questions briefly to PTM leadership, pinpointing dates and location where they were provided the funds.
DG ISPR press conference continued for 1 hour and 24 minutes, one of the longest one in which, Major General Asif Ghafoor shared the details about Operation Radd ul Fassad and the background from where it all started.
