Doctor & influencer Maha Shah allegedly commits suicide

KARACHI: A 25-year-old lady doctor named Maha Shah has died after allegedly committing suicide according to her family however, the incident appears to be somewhat mysterious according to the police.

According to details, Maha Shah was brought to the hospital in critical condition with a bullet wound to the back of the head after after which she succumbed to her injury.

The family of the deceased insisted that she committed suicide in her washroom on the first floor of the house after returning home from work. However, according to the police, those who commit suicide don’t usually shoot themselves in the back of the head but rather the temple or forehead.

A probe has been initiated into the death of Dr Maha Shah and police are investigating the matter from all angles. The pistol which was used in the incident has also been taken into custody as evidence and police are trying to find the actual owner of the weapon.

According to details, Dr Maha Shah belonged to DHA Phase 4, Karachi and the family of the deceased had rented the house just 15 days ago.

The social media influencer was reportedly depressed due to domestic issues involving her parents divorce and it was also reported that the deceased doctor recently had an altercation with her father.

Dr Maha Shah had a huge following on Instagram where she made regular posts. The last post the social media influencer made was just one day ago.
