Dubai has unveiled the ‘Dubai Integrated Housing Center,’ a residential services hub set to begin operations in February. Launched by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, the center consolidates 54 residential services from four government departments and two private sector partners. The initiative aligns with Dubai’s Social Agenda 33, focusing on family well-being.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the center’s role in supporting citizens throughout the home-building process, providing services like design consultancy, cost-saving guidance, and assistance with financing through banks. The aim is to simplify the challenging experience of constructing family homes, particularly for young individuals.
The Crown Prince expressed the commitment to launch further projects in the future, prioritizing stable families and enhancing their quality of life. The initiative is aligned with Dubai Social Agenda 33’s goal of offering land and residential loans to every new Emirati family within a year of application.
Covering diverse needs, the center concentrates on housing, construction, and land services, including the selection and allocation of residential lands. Government entities contributing services include the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality, and Dubai Land. Private partners, Emirates Islamic Bank and Sobha Realty, also play a role.
In January, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid launched the Dh208 billion Dubai Social Agenda 33, aiming to double the number of Emirati families in the emirate within a decade. The comprehensive plan encompasses improvements in housing standards, healthcare, and overall quality of life for citizens. The Dubai Integrated Housing Center stands as a pivotal initiative in achieving these ambitious social development goals.
