ISLAMABAD: The payment process for the second phase of the Ehsaas Emergency Program (Corona Relief Fund) starts today. It is aimed at helping laborers and workers affected by the coronavirus lockdown and those who applied using the Ehsaas Labour Portal.

According to the Ehsaas Emergency Program official Twitter handle, Prime Minister Imran Khan will be attending the cash disbursal event to the deserving and affected from the coronavirus outbreak.
This second phase of the Ehsaas Emergency Program (Corona Relief Fund) is aimed at helping those who have lost their livelihood and jobs as a result of the coronavirus lockdown. These people will be provided with a financial aid of Rs. 12,000. You can apply for the program at the Ehsaas Labour Portal where over 3.4 million applications have already been receieved.

The amount that is being disbursed under the program comes from the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Corona Relief Fund. PM Khan said that with this fund, the government is contribute Rs. 4 for every Re. 1 that is donated by the public.
So far, The Ehsaas Emergency Program has distributed Rs. 104,955.14 billion to 8,622,285 beneficiaries and rest of the payments are underway.
