The government has announced Eid ul Adha 2024 holidays, and a notification has been issued by the cabinet division.
According to the notification, the Eid ul Adha holidays will commence on June 17 and conclude on 19 (Monday to Wednesday).
The notification stated, “It is for general information that the Prime Minister has been pleased to declare 17th to 19th June, 2024 (Monday to Wednesday) as public holidays on the occasion of Eid ul Azha.”
However, everyone will be able to enjoy an extended break because the Eid holidays fall with the weekend.
It is pertinent to mention that Eid ul Adha will be celebrated on June 17 as announced by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee (RHC) after the sighting of the crescent moon for month of Zil Hajj on Friday.
