Eid ul Adha 2024 Prediction
The Met Office predicts that Eid ul Adha will be celebrated in Pakistan on Monday, June 17, 2024. The PMD forecasts that the Zilhajj moon will be visible on Friday, June 7. According to the Met Office, the moon will rise at 5:38 PM on June 6, and sunset will occur at 7:20 PM. The moon is expected to be visible for 72 minutes after sunset.
Significance of the Meeting
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meeting is important for determining the start of Zilhajj, the Islamic month during which Eid ul Adha is celebrated. The moon sighting marks the beginning of this month, leading to the observance of Eid ul Adha, a major Islamic festival.
