The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) is likely to improve another hike the electricity tariff on account of July’s Fuel Charge Adjustment (FCA).
According to the details, the electricity tariff is likely to be raised by Rs. 2.07 per unit, which is going to put more pressure on the masses.
The development comes after power companies sought Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) to hike electricity tariff by Rs. 2.07 per unit for July’s Fuel Charge Adjustment (FCA).
The NEPRA will hear the plea on August 30.
