Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) is reportedly planning to close off several entry points into Islamabad after 7 PM today (24 November 2022) ahead of the arrival of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march’s arrival to the capital as announced by party Chairman and Former Prime Minister, Imran Khan.
There are several reports circulating on social media and being reported by media outlets that authorities are planning to close entry and block of several points leading into Islamabad after 7 PM today (24 November 2022).
According to these reports, the following entry points into Islamabad will be closed / blocked after 7PM today:
- M-2 Motorway
- Koral Exchange
- Faizabad Interchange
- 26 Number Chungi
- T-Chowk
However, it is pertinent to mention that Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has announced no such plans and this development is based simply on reports circulating on social media and aired by media outlets.
