Ex-President and President Nominee receives bomb threats

New York: The pipe bomb devices were sent to the ex-president and presidential nominee, and also to the Time Warner Centre in New York has left the officials on red alert.

Pipebomb devices were sent to Barak Obama and the Clinton’s home as well multiples other targets and now the US authorities on red alert.

A suspicious package was sent to President Obama in Washington DC.

Similar package was also found near by the home of Bill and Hillary Clinton in upstate New York.

Another device was also sent to the White House, the report which was later denied. The secret service is only confirming the packages sent to Obama and Clinton.

Apart from the treats to the current and previous office bearers of the White House, other targeted building in New York included Time Warner Center where CNN offices are based.

As described by the US authorities the devices are pipebombs.

Same device was found on Monday at the compound of the billionaire investor George Soros. The US officials believe that the bomb discovered near the Clintons’Home in Chappaqua , New York is links to the bomb discovered on Monday. Both homes are in Westchester, New York, just north of New York City.

The official who are not authorized to discuss publicly said in anonymity, the official also revealed that one of the packages had return address of US House Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a former chairwoman Democratic National Committee.

Hillary Clinton not available at the family home in New York when the package was intercepted, however Mr. Clinton was present.

THE DEVICE

NYPD source have said that the device, found in the mail room of the Time Warner Center, was “constructed with a pipe and wires…and the device is being treated as a real explosive by the Law enforcement authorities”.

The device addresses to the White House, intercepted at a military base, were “rudimentary but functional” Authorities have reported to CNN.

According to the police the device also contained projectiles.
