The Islamabad Administration has closed Faisal Mosque and roads leading to Daman-e-Koh, Monal and Pir Sohawa over the risk of spreading coronavirus as infections continue to rise in the Federal Capital.
“The Faisal Mosque is currently closed to the public.” tweeted Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat on Sunday. “There is a risk of spreading corona due to rush. Sorry for the inconvenience.”

In another tweet, the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner informed that roads leading to Monal and Pir Sohawa are also being closed for traffic.

It is pertinent to mention that all vaccination centers in Islamabad will remain closed on 9th and 10th Muharram.
