Twitter is trending with #JusticeForKhadija as netizens demand Justice For Khadija Mehmood, a Bachelors of Dental Sciences (BDS) student from Faisalabad who was subject to mental and physical torture for rejecting a marriage proposal. The incident in Faisalabad has been trending on social media with netizens demanding severe punishment of the accused.
In the viral video, the Faisalabad girl, who has been identified as Khadija Mehmood, was severely abused while another woman’s voice can be heard in the background. Furthermore, the victim was forced to lick shoes, her hair were chopped, and eyebrows shaved as a result of rejecting a marriage proposal of her friend’s father.
According to the details, Khadija Mehmood, the Faisalabad girl, was friends with Ana Ali Sheikh, whose father, Sheikh Danish, started taking an interest in her and later proposed, However, she rejected the proposal and that angered Sheikh Danish, who took his revenge on her.
The First Information Report (FIR) states that Sheikh Danish barged into her home along with other men, kidnapped the girl at gunpoint, and took her to his home located in Paradise Valley on Sheikhupura Road in Faisalabad, where he subjected her to physical and mental torture.
The Faisalabad girl was mentally, sexually and physically assaulted, which included her hair being chopped and eyebrows shaved. Furthermore, the girl was forced to lick the shoes of the accomplices, while the accused filmed the entire incident and released the videos on social media.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Police has arrested five people involved in the Faisalabad incident, including Sheikh Danish, Faizan, Shoaib, Khan Muhammad, Maham, while further investigation in currently in progress. However, Ana Ali Sheikh, the daughter of the accused, who was reportedly present at the time of the torture and abuse has not been arrested.
People are demanding that Ana Ali Sheikh must be arrested and brought to justice for helping her father torture Khadija Mehmood. It is pertinent to mention that a picture of Ana Sheikh is going viral on social media in which she is wearing the same shoes that the Khadija Mehmood was forced to lick in the viral video.

Furthermore, the medical tests of Khadija Mehmood have proved that she was subject to torture at the hands of the accused and was forced to perform sexual acts as well.
