NAB Arrest Faryal Talpur At Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials have arrested Faryal Talpur at Islamabad.

Earlier former President Asif Ali Zardari was also arrested by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials in connection to money laundering through fake accounts.

Today Faryal Talpur sister of Asif Ali Zardari has also been arrested in the same case.

The accused has been detained under the NAO, 1999.

A five member NAB team along with a female investigators are at the Zardari house.

The Zardari house has been declared sub-jail.

NAB issued a notification declaring House No. 13, Street No 19, F-8/2 Islamabad as a sub jail for the accused Faryal Talpur under the NAO,1999.

The accused was arrested hours after the above notification was issued by the Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Justice Javed Iqbal.

She has been placed under a house arrested in the house in F-8 Islamabad.

Sister of Asif Ali Zardari will be presented before the court tomorrow.

According to reliable sources the arrest warrant was handed over to NAB Rawalpindi two days ago.

Earlier this week former President ASif Ali Zardari was arrested by NAB on Monday.

He was arrested from Islamabad after the Islamabad High Court rejected their plea for an extension in their interim bail in the fake bank accounts case.

The plea was filed by Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur.
