In a major blow to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), senior vice president, Fawad Chaudhry has announced that he is resigning from his position and partying ways with PTI Chairman Imran Khan as he wants to take a break from politics.
Taking to Twitter, the Former Federal Minister referred to his earlier statement condemning the May 9 incidents, saying that he has decided to take a break from politics. “Therefore, I have resigned from party position and parting ways from Imran Khan.” he added.

It is pertinent to mention that several PTI lawmakers and party members have party ways following the May 9 incidents after party chairman, Imran Khan’s arrest, wherein military installations, including the General Headquarters (GHQ) were attacked by protestors.
Earlier this week, PTI’s Shireen Mazari and Former Punjab Minister, Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan also quit the party over the 9th May incidents.
