Former Minister, Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan, has announced to quit Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) shortly after PTI leader, Shireen Mazari, announced to leave politics.
In a news conference on Tuesday, Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan said that decision to leave PTI was taken after incidents following his arrest.
He added that his family members were arrested and his house was ransacked on the behest of Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
He stated that Imran Khan’s silence over my arrest also forced me to review my political struggle.
The news follows Shireen Mazari’s announcement to quit politics due to her health and problems being caused for her daughter, Imaan Mazari, due to repeated arrests.
