Filmmaker Jami Moor back in October posted on Twitter that that he was raped by a very power person in the media world but he ended his tweet and did not name who it was until Saturday when he came to Twitter to saying that his alleged rapist was Hameed Haroon, Dawn CEO.
This was his tweet back in October when he used the #MeToo hashtag to come out on Twitter regarding the matter.
On Saturday Jame came to Twitter and finally gave the name of the person who he said had allegedly raped him saying that it was the Dawn CEO, Hameed Haroon.
Jami Raza has got a lot of support on Twitter regarding the matter and it has been trending all day today with majority of people siding with Jami. Even the Hashtag #RapistHaroon is trending on Twitter with people in full support of the filmmaker Jami.
However, Hameed Haroon, Dawn CEO has issued a statement regarding the accusation saying that all of this is completely untrue and the entire story is made up.
The story is simply untrue and intentionally fabricated at the instance of those who wish to silence me and through me, to compel the newspaper that I represent to support their repressive narrative,
Hameed Haroon also said that he will be taking legal action to clear his name regarding the matter saying:
I am initiating legal action to clear my name and reputation, and to safeguard the freedom of the press by bringing to justice all those responsible for these false and malicious allegations against me,
