A fire broke out at the famous Liberty Market in Lahore after Friday prayer.
According to the details, the fire started at a plaza near Habib Bank Limited (HBL) branch shortly after today’s Friday prayer and quickly engulfed nearby shops.
However, the fire department responded within a few minutes of getting informed of the situation and controlled the blaze before it could spread any further or cause more damage.
The fire at Liberty Market in Lahore broke out due to a short-circuit according to the rescue teams present at the scene.
There is no reported loss of life but relief operation is ongoing.
It is pertinent to mention that a few days ago, a fire broke out at Hafeez Centre in Lahore, which is one of the biggest computer and cellphone markets in the country.
