Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz has authorized funds for the Roshan Gharana Program.
The Roshan Gharana Program aims to provide solar kits to power consumers, utilizing up to 100 units per month. This decision was made during a meeting led by CM Maryam Nawaz in Lahore today.
The program will offer a 1kv Solar system to eligible power consumers, including two solar plates, batteries, inverter, and wires. These provisions aim to enhance access to sustainable energy sources for qualifying families.
Furthermore, funds were allocated during the meeting for establishing a modern computer lab at the Government College of Technology, along with initiatives like the International Undergraduate Scholarship and Local Scholarship Programs.
Additionally, the chief minister directed the resolution of vehicle number plate backlogs within five months.
In her inaugural address as Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz outlined her vision for the next five years, emphasizing plans for consumers using less than 300 units of electricity.
CM Maryam emphasized that during her tenure, the PML-N’s primary objectives would focus on employment, education, and healthcare provision.
