Gabriela Lima Santana was filmed being murdered and dismembered

BRAZIL: Gabriela Lima Santana was filmed by the Brazilian gang while they carried out a gruesome act of murdering and dismembering parts of her body in a bathroom. The victim was a 21-year-old woman who was reported missing on March 13.

The crime scene was identified by the police as an apartment in a condominium located in the Rio Branco neighborhood. The video footage showed the man cutting up a woman while smiling.

The Brazilian gang brutally murdered the 21-year-old Gabriela Lima Santana, cut her into pieces to fit in a suitcase which was later thrown in a drainage ditch. The suitcase caught the attention of the worker when one of her arm got loose and floated to the surface.

Gabriela was first reported missing on March 13, however, it is believed she went missing much earlier. Two of the suspects involved in the case are arrested by the police, while the police are searching for two more suspects.

Reports suggest her remains were discovered by the municipal workers in Capao da Canoa while removing garbage from the area. The municipal workers were trying to remove the heavy luggage with the excavator when one of her arms fell off and started floating in front of the terrified workers. The news outlet Caboco reports the victim’s head, torso, legs, and other arm were recovered from the suitcase by forensics experts. Along with the body parts, the investigators also found knives and saws, which are believed to have been used in the crime. The suitcase also had heavy rocks apparently used to make it sink.

The police identified Gabriela Lima Santana by her fingerprints and her distinctive tattoos. One of the tattoo is allegedly associated with a local gang.

The discovery of Gabriela Lima Santana’s remains led the detectives to an inquiry regarding a shocking video they had received on March 1. The video showed a woman’s body being chopped in a bathroom. The disturbing footage also showed many bin bags scattered on the floor which seemed to contain the victim’s body parts.

One of the suspects was arrested when the investigation let the police officers to an apartment in the neighborhood of Rio Branco. The property reportedly had ties to the local criminal gangs.

A 49-year-ool man identified from the footage is arrested by the police and a 23-year-old man who believed to have recorded the clip was also arrested. The investigation is on going for the hunt of two other suspects.
