ISLAMABAD: A 15-year-old girl died of a lightning strike in D-12 area of Islamabad according to the Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Hamza Shafqat on Tuesday.
“A 15 years old girl died of lightning in a slum near Sector D-12 Islamabad.” said the Deputy Commissioner on Twitter. “A 15 years old girl died of lightning in a slum near Sector D-12 Islamabad.”

Earlier, the Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted rain and snowfall in upper parts of the country, including Kashmir, Islamabad, Potohar region, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura and Kasur.
Rain is expected to continue in the Islamabad throughout Wednesday and temperatures are expected to remain cold.
