The Federal Government has announce four public holidays on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr 2022. According to the details, the Federal Government has finalized four Eid Holidays from 2 May 2022 to 5 May 2022 (Monday to Thursday).
The notification in this regard will be issued soon. However, it is pertinent to mention that the four Eid Holidays, coupled with Sunday, will become five holidays in total for Eid-Ul-Fitr 2022.
According to sources, the Interior Ministry had originally sent a summary for three public holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr, however, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved four holidays for the religious festival.
It bears mentioning that the month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak started on 3rd April 2022 and this year, it is expected that the Holy Month will have 30 days. The Shawwal moon is expected to be sighted on the evening of 30th Ramadan, 2 May 2022.
