The Government has extended the final date to file income tax returns by another 30 days till November 30, 2022.
The announcement was made by Federal Minister for Finance, Ishaq Dar, on Monday.
He added that State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) would also continue to clear Letter of Credits (LCs) up to $100,000 from tomorrow in order to solve the number of pending complaints.
Previously, the date to submit income tax returns was October 31, 2022, and the government has extended the date for the second time over the course of the last few months.
Furthermore, the Finance Minister added that State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) had finished resolving complaints and clearing LCs of up to $50,000.
Moreover, he announced that the government has decided to maintain the prices of petroleum products in the country for the next fortnight.
