Green Line Metro Karachi to be discussed today

Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail is expected to land in Islamabad to meet Prime Minister Imran Khan today to discuss about Green Line Metro Karachi project.

Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail will be briefing PM Khan on various Karachi projects and issues including Green Line Metro Karachi incomplete project, abandoned due to lack of funds and interest.

The 35 Kilometers long 1st phase of Metro Bus project in Karachi is incomplete due to lack of funds from federal government and lack of interest as well.

The project was expected to be completed by 2017 end however it appears Green Line Metro Karachi project might take 6 to 8 more months.

Green Line metro karachi will facilitate millions of commuters from Surjani town to Tower near KPT daily.

Meanwhile Sheikh Rasheed has promised to start KCR project as soon as possible according to him buses will not be sufficient to facilitate public, Karachi needs Metro Train Service.
