PML-N Leader Hamza Shehbaz was elected Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab on Saturday after a long session of the Punjab Assembly of throwing Lota’s and beating each other all day long. It bears mentioning that Hamza Shehbaz was elected as Chief Minister after PML-Q and PTI completely boycotted the polls after Pervez Elahi was severely beaten by PML-N.
Three PTI members were also arrested for attacking the Deputy Speaker Dost Mohammad Mazari in the chaotic session of the Punjab Assembly. The session, which was scheduled to begin at 11:30AM finally concluded after several delays throughout the day as lawmakers resorted to violence.
Hamza Shehbaz has been elected the Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab with 197 votes, while Pervez Elahi did not receive any votes as PML-Q and PTI had boycotted the polls after their joint-candidate was beaten and bloodied by the PML-N members of Punjab Assembly.
