The National Highways and Motorways Police (NHMP) has increased the traffic violation fine for over-speeding on highways and motorways across the country from 1 October 2023.
In a post on social media, the National Highways and Motorways Police (NHMP) said that it was implementing a heavy fine for over-speeding for the safety of commuters on the highways and motorways.
According to the details, the over-speeding fine in Pakistan is now Rs. 2,500, which has been increased by Rs. 1,750, from the old fine of Rs. 750. Furthermore, the new traffic fine will be effective from 1 October 2023.
