The Quetta Police on Thursday announced the arrest of two suspects, Hidayat Khilji and his brother, Khalil, for allegedly abducting, raping, and filming obscene videos of two girls in Quetta. #HIDAYAT_THE_RAPIST started trending on social media as the videos of the girls went viral on the internet causing an uproar across the country.
During a press conference in Quetta, the DIG Police revealed that a woman had filed a complaint against Hidayat Khilji and his brother Khalil for abducting her two daughters and sharing their obscene videos on different social media platforms.
The police immediately took action against the suspects and arrested them after registering a case against them. Meanwhile, the police has also recovered obscene videos of the girls from their laptop, mobiles, and other devices which were sealed from their possession.
Hidayat Khilji was reportedly involved in a gang that raped girls after luring them into the trap by offering them jobs. The girls were intoxicated by the accused before being raped by the gang, who also made obscene videos of the girls which were later used for blackmail.

The police officials also recovered obscene videos of the girls from a laptop, mobiles, and other devices that were seized from the possession of the accused. There are reports stating that the accused is responsible for raping over 200 girls but the DIG Police has rejected all these reports, saying that a higher number of women is being quoted on social media.
The incident has caused outrage on Twitter with hashtag #HIDAYAT_THE_RAPIST as netizens express their rage on the incident and demand justice for the girls and Hidayat Khilji and his brother to be severely punished.
