ISLAMABAD: Hot and Dry weather is expected to prevail in Islamabad and Rawalpindi along with surrounding areas as temperatures are expected to rise by 2 degrees Celsius over the next four days.
The weather in the Islamabad and Rawalpindi will remain hot and dry with no sign of relief while remaining running with no sign of rain expected over the next 72 hours.
Met Department Issues Advisory for Heatwave Like Conditions in Plain Areas
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (Met Office) hot and dry weather is likely to prevail in the country for the next 4 days while most plain areas of the country will remain in the grip of hot and dry weather.
Temperature in these areas is expected to rise by 3 – 5 degrees Celsius.
Temperatures today were recorded around 39 degrees Celsius in Islamabad while other areas of the country recorded temperatures even higher. Lahore recorded a maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius while Khanpur recorded temperatures of 47 degrees Celcius.
Karachi is expected to have a heatwave as temperature remains above 40 degrees.
