Hyderabad Commissioner Reduces Price of Tandoori Roti and Naan

After the reduction in the prices of tandoori roti and naam in other provinces, the Hyderabad Commissioner has taken notice of the matter, and a notification has been issued announcing a reduction in the price of roti and naan too.

According to the notification, the price of tandoori roti / chapati in Hyderabad will now be Rs. 15 per 100 grams, while the price of naan will be Rs. 18 per 120 grams.

The notification stated that tandoor shops are required to display the new price list at conspicuous places and should not charge higher prices above the mentioned rates. In case of any violation and non-compliance, strict action will be taken in accordance with the law.

Furthermore, the Assistant Commissioners are directed to pay surprise visits at tandoors to check the weightings of the tandoori roti and naan as per the official rate and weight mentioned above.
