Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced a Jalsa in Peshawar on Wednesday (13th April 2022) to protest his removal from office through a “foreign-instigated regime change.” This is going to be Imran Khan’s first Jalsa after being ousted as Prime Minister by a no-confidence motion.
“On Wednesday, I will be holding a Jalsa in Peshawar after Isha – my first Jalsa after being removed through a foreign- instigated regime change.” said ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan. “I want all our people to come, as Pakistan was created as an independent, sovereign state not as a puppet state of foreign powers.” he added.

Imran Khan said that the purpose of the Peshawar Jalsa is to be demand “immediate elections” as that was the only way to let people decide whom they want to see as their Prime Minister.
