Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, is getting medical treatment at Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore after the firing incident during his Long March near the Wazirabad area in Gujranwala.
According to the details, Former Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health, Dr. Faisal Sultan, is heading a team of four doctors, who will be operating on the PTI Chairman, Imran Khan.
Imran Khan was immediately shifted to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital in Lahore after he was wounded in today’s incident at PTI’s Haqeeqi Azadi March in Gujranwala.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, has condemned the incident of firing on Imran Khan and ordered an immediate report from Interior Ministry.
The incident has left several PTI workers injured and one dead.

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said it was a clear assassination attempt but Imran Khan was in stable condition. “There was a lot of bleeding.” he said. “If the shooter had not been stopped by people there, the entire PTI leadership would have been wiped out.” he added.
