ISLAMABAD: PM Imran Khan will meet US President Donald Trump on July 22, 2019, in Washington DC, as confirmed by The Foreign Office on Thursday.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr. Muhammad Faisal informed during his weekly press conference that PM Imran Khan will meet US President Donald Trump this month in Washington.

PM Imran Khan will take this trip on the invitation of Donald Trump. This will be his first trip to the US after becoming the Prime Minister.
Both the leaders will discuss regional and international issues and also review bilateral relations.
Dr. Muhammad Faisal also revealed during the press conference that the agenda of the meeting is being developed through diplomatic channels. The detailed curtain raiser will be issued before the visit.
Earlier on 27 June, the Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had said that PM Imran Khan will be meeting the US President Donald Trump soon.
He had also revealed in front of the reporters that Trump had extended an invitation, but PM Imran Khan was not able to move earlier due to budget session.
