Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and Former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, on Sunday announced to resume PTI’s Haqeeqi Azadi Long March from Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference from Shaukat Khanum Hospital, PTI Chief Imran Khan said the Long March will resume from Wazirabad in Gujranwala and he will address the marchers on daily basis from the hospital.
He added the Azadi Long March will reach Rawalpindi in 10 to 15 days, where he will physically join the march and urged the masses to join the protest. “It is time to realize Haqeeqi Azadi.” he said. “All of you should come and reach Rawalpindi when I join the party and lead [the long march].”
It is pertinent to mention that Imran Khan was discharged from Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore and reached his home in Zaman Park.
Imran Khan also welcomed the PM Shehbaz’s decision for the formation of a judicial commission to probe the assassination attempt on him in Wazirabad.
He also condemned the video leak of party Senator Azam Swati and went on to say that it is not a fake video, as claimed by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and should be investigated.
Meanwhile, Azam Swati will observe the sit-in outside the Supreme Court for justice.
The PTI Chairman also demanded the formation of a judicial commission to probe the killing of senior journalist, Arshad Sharif, and the US cipher that according to Khan was the reason behind the no-confidence motion.
