Iqra University's Founder Hunaid Lakhani Passes Away at 49

Renowned educationist and politician Hunaid Lakhani has passed away on Thursday at the age of 49.

According to the details, the founder and chancellor of Iqra University was suffering from dengue virus and undergoing treatment at a hospital in Karachi.

However, Hunaid Lakhani was unable to recover and passed away on Thursday.

His funeral prayers will be offered at Masjid-e-Saheem in Khayaban-e-Rahat on Friday after Asr Prayers.

Many people have taken to social media to express their condolences.

“Very sad to hear about death of my friend Hunaid Lakhani Chairman & Founder of Iqra University.” President Arif Alvi wrote on Twitter. “Very sad to hear about death of my friend Hunaid Lakhani Chairman & Founder of Iqra University.” he added.
