Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a Traffic Plan as protests have broken out across the capital after Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) disqualified Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, in the Toshakhana reference.

According to the Islamabad Traffic Plan (ITP), the Capital Police have place closed off Islamabad’s Red Zone and placed diversions of both sides at Express Chowk and NADRA Chowk. Meanwhile, the police have advised commuters to use Margallah Road, Ayub Chowk, and Serena Chowk.
Meanwhile, Athaal Chowk Bharakahu has been closed on both sides due to protest and people going to Murree from Islamabad or coming back to the capital may face trouble. Furthermore, the Islamabad Traffic Police have also placed diversions at Chungi No 6 and commuters can use Peshawar Road instead.
The Islamabad Traffic Plan also states that diversions have been placed at Iqbal Town stop of Islamabad Expressway as well. Moreover, Tramri Chowk has been closed due to protest, while commuters can use Murree Road.
Faizabad and Koral have been completely blocked by protesters as well.
