ISLAMABAD: After almost 200 cases of coronavirus being reported from the area, Sector G-9/2, G-9/3 (Peshawar Mor Market) and Karachi Company (G9 Markaz) are going to be sealed according to the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad.
The Deputy Commissioner Islamabad took to Twitter to inform about the decision taken on the advice of the Health Department and epidemiologists after almost 200 cases were reported from these areas.
It is further advised that the residents of these areas take appropriate measure and Islamabad Administration will make arrangements to seal and lockdown these sectors.
It is important to mention that coronavirus cases in Pakistan including in the capital of Islamabad are on the rise with almost 6,000 cases being reported yesterday and over 100 deaths. World Health Organization (WHO) says that Pakistan Government should implement a two weeks lockdown before the matter escalates further however, the Federal Government remains against such a lockdown.
